Officers' Bugles
BUGLE: conically bored brass instrument, no valves. Often confused for a Cavalry Trumpet (with no valves).
CORNET: conically bored brass instrument with 3 valves.
FLUEGEL HORN: conically bored brass instrument, large bore, large bell flare, usually 3 or 4 valves.
HORN: what you find on male cows, goats, and other bovines...not to be confused with a rhino horn. The earliest known bugle.
CONCH SHELL: another early signaling device, made from the shell of the Sea Conch.

American Made. Key of Bb. The bell is curved/flared, not a 'V' shape. Receivers are mostly on the LEFT side of the bell. No garland (a reinforcing, or 2nd, bell). Tubing is conical after the first 12 inches. These are NOT British Model 1855 Duty Bugles. American Instrument makers had their own design for a Bb bugle, thank you.
Used by ALL branches of service, Officer's, NCO's, and buglers.
